For Man Can't Live On Bread Alone . . .

My children do not always learn from history,
and neither do I. 
Let me not be so proud as to think that
anything I do is new or grand,
for there is nothing new under the sun. 
Let me not think that I can do anything
without You. 
And those times that I fall,
let me know that You are always the same,
always loving and forgiving,
and ever willing to give me another chance.
